Reach Bacc was uniquely established to provide simple, concrete experiences that enhance the life of youth and their families. Our goal is to build character and help help families identify and live with purpose. Our team is a colorful reflection of parents, college students, entrepreneurs, professional business women and men. Most importantly, people whom share passion and a commitment to developing the life of youth and their families.

Reach Bacc Inc. envisions a community which families experience nurturing relationships “Renewed” by the way they think, “Repaired” from issues of abandonment, generational learnt helplessness, physical and emotional abuse through love and empowerment. “Repurposed” hopeful leaders determined to succeed, which allows each of them to develop into their full potential and become agents of change.
Our motto, less is "more", we design services to be “simplistic”, “transparent” allowing participants to meet goals, live purpose “driven” lives and thrive.
Why Reach Bacc
Our Founders
REACH BACC, was founded in 2017 in Homestead by two grassroots social service servants, Derrick and Latoyia Banks together sharing a common belief that many youths in their community lacked meaningful experiences that develop character, academic, and purposed career guidance. Determined to make a difference, they convened a series of interviews with youth and concerned parents over a two year tenure assessing the needs and lack of access to programs in the Homestead/ Florida City areas focusing on the needs of youth. With their findings formed REACH BACC as a nonprofit IRS 501(c)3 corporation. Together, they bring over 47 years of experience servicing youth and their families. Since implementation, REACH BACC has forged strong partnerships with local business community, media, schools, and other youth–serving organizations in the community.
REACH BACC has a nontraditional approach to social service. Participating families complete an intake assessment which allows our team to identify areas of service need and develop plans that reflect the best possible outcome for individual families.
Our program environment creates opportunities for both youth and families to engage in relationships that supports the best possible outcome for meeting the vision of REACH BACC.
With the exception of the private school and after-school program, our service capacity is for 50 participants max per program. We firmly believe less is more and provides the opportunity to deliver services that are intentional, supportive, and personal to conquering the barriers once faced.
Together, Executive Board Members, Program Coordinators, and Essential Staff create the change we want to bring.
